There are several brunch spots on Oahu and most of them are quite good. It’s the ones on Sunday that really stand out though, and if you really want to move the needle, then it needs to be a buffet. Here are the best Sunday Brunch Buffets on Oahu.

I have been to several and will continue to review the others over time so be sure to check back or subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my latest reviews.

Let’s dig in!

Orchid’s at Halekulani

The Orchid’s Sunday brunch is an exceptional culinary experience that I would highly recommend. As you enter the lobby of the Halekulani Hotel head towards the right and angle off to the ocean. The ambiance is elegant and relaxed, with natural light pouring in through the open lanai that faces the Pacific Ocean, you really feel at ease.

Considered by many, including myself, to be the best Sunday Brunch in the State of Hawaii.

The brunch menu offers a wide variety of dishes, ranging from traditional breakfast items like pancakes and waffles to an impressive selection of international cuisine. You can indulge in a freshly made omelet, try some sushi rolls, or one of several items from the 4 carving stations. There’s something for every palate, and the quality of the food is top-shelf.

The Orchid’s Sunday brunch has won several awards, including the “Best Brunch in the City” by the local food critics and “The Diners’ Choice Award” by the restaurant review site, OpenTable. The hotel’s culinary team is constantly innovating and updating the menu, incorporating fresh, seasonal ingredients and new culinary techniques, to ensure that the guests have a memorable dining experience.

If you get the chance to experience this award-winning buffet at the top-reviewed Halekulani then you are indeed one of the lucky ones.

House Without A Key at Halekulani

This Sunday brunch has the unfortunate luck of being located right next door to Orchid’s, a tough act to follow.

The Sunday brunch at House Without a Key in the Halekulani Hotel offers a truly unique dining experience. Located oceanfront and shaded by historic kiawe trees, the setting is serene and beautiful. The menu features an array of local and island-inspired dishes, including all the expected offerings of a quality Sunday brunch buffet.

If anything the views of the Pacific Ocean paired with the 5-star service Halekulani is known for make this an easy pick for Sunday.

A variety of desserts rounds off the meal, and exceptional service throughout the experience makes this brunch a must-try when visiting Honolulu.

100 Sails at Prince Waikiki

My personal favorite and the Sunday Brunch on Oahu I take family and friends. The fried rice and temaki sushi station are the best!

The dining room offers breathtaking panoramic views of the harbor, setting a tranquil mood. The buffet features an impressive selection of dishes, including sashimi, somen salad, a carving station, and an impressive waffle station with loads of toppings.

Known for their exceptional service and the quality of their locally-sourced ingredients, 100 Sails provides a memorable Sunday brunch experience at the Prince Waikiki.

La Hiki at Four Seasons Oahu

La Hiki Kitchen at the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina offers a remarkable Sunday brunch that I have been fortunate enough to indulge in.

The dining area, with its relaxed decor and easy going pool views, is the perfect setting for this feast.

The buffet showcases a wide variety of dishes, from fresh crab legs, oysters, shrimp, and a carving station with prime rib and roast pork. Special mention goes to the ramen station, the freshest I have had at any Sunday brunch buffet on Oahu.

The array of desserts gets top marks from me and so far is the best dessert selection I have seen, an impressive array of sugary delights.

La Hiki’s Sunday brunch is a must-try when in Oahu.

Hoku’s at Kahala Hotel & Resort

Unfortunately, I have not had the pleasure of enjoying the Sunday Brunch Buffet at Hoku’s but I have stayed at Kahala Hotel & Resort while also dining at Hoku’s for dinner.

Hoku’s at Kahala Resort provides a luxurious Sunday brunch experience with a stunning beachfront view and if the attention to detail is on par with the dinner service then expect something special.

The brunch features a variety of gourmet dishes, blending Hawaiian influences with European techniques. From fresh seafood and sushi to prime meats and locally sourced tropical fruits, Hoku’s offers a diverse and delectable selection.

Plumeria Beach House at Kahala Hotel & Resort

During my stay at the Kahala Hotel & Resort I did get a chance to visit the Plumeria Beach House Sunday brunch buffet and like House Without A Key, it was well laid out and had all the items you would expect.

Nothing notably exceptional about the offerings but when paired with the beautiful views and 5 star service it was smooth sailing at every turn. You can read all about what I had and my overall experience here during my stay.

Kuhio Beach Grill at Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa

Besides the killer fried rice, the one thing that stood out for me while indulging in the buffet here was the friendliness of the staff. I arrived at this restaurant at exactly 6 am when they opened.

I do this many times because I want to capture video and photographs before the majority of people arrive. When you walk into a restaurant at 6 am and everyone is full of smiles and happy “good mornings” you know it is going to be a good day.

The video below is a full tour of the Waikiki Beach Marriott but also includes the Sunday brunch buffet, check it out.

Duke’s Waikiki at Outrigger Waikiki Beach

The Sunday brunch buffet at Duke’s Waikiki is one of the best values I have found for breakfast. All the basics you would come to expect at a breakfast buffet in a wonderful setting overlooking Waikiki Beach.

Waikiki is expensive and finding quality food at a reasonable price is always something to note. I actually dined at this breakfast buffet while staying at the White Sands Hotel about 2 blocks away. Well worth the walk and the service was top-notch.

Bird of Paradise at Hawaii Prince Golf Club

This is another popular local Sunday brunch buffet that I have not had the opportunity to eat at. If you have, leave a comment below so others may benefit from your experience.

Makana Lani at ‘Alohilani Resort

During my stay at the ‘Alohilani Resort, I was able to enjoy the Sunday brunch buffet at Makana Lani which was also hosting the Sunday morning show for a popular radio station, a fun (and loud!) time.

With a great layout and attentive staff, this buffet hits all the basic check marks. No view here as it’s all indoors but there were about 2 seats that you could peek down to the giant indoor aquarium ‘Alohilani is famous for.

If you want to move a large group of people through a satisfying breakfast buffet and then get exploring then this may be a good option for you.

SHOR at Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach

The SHOR restaurant is another Sunday brunch buffet on Oahu that I haven’t had the chance to dine at but I did get a chance to eat dinner here. I did see the buffet layout and it looked like it was a decent size for getting the basics covered. If you have enjoyed the breakfast buffet here let us know below.
