With the launch of Moxy Manchester City, Marriott Bonvoy’s experiential hotel brand makes its debut in Manchester. A contemporary neighbourhood hotel in the city’s vibrant Spinningfields area, operated by KE Hotels, is a great place to enjoy Manchester’s energetic spirit and enjoy its best restaurants and bars.

With affordable fun and endless adventure, Moxy Manchester City offers a playful staycation for those young at heart. The hotel is an elegant nine-story building clad in weathered-effect metal panels that provides an urban contrast to the original, pre-war façade that still exists in the former hat factory.

Visit Bar Moxy – the hotel’s social hub, which also serves as its front desk, where guests are greeted with a “Got Moxy” cocktail while getting their room keys. With local-inspired artwork and curated illustrations in Manchester style, the bar Moxy and social atrium have a modern and industrial feel. Additionally, in the 24/7 space are a foosball table, a card table, a board game, and communal lockers. The restaurant offers brightly colored pouffe seating, hidden corners, and laid-back sofas, as well as a wraparound bar.

Hotel guests and locals alike will be drawn to the hotel’s new Bar Moxy, which will feature light bites menu and cocktails. A wide variety of beers, spirits, wines and cocktails are available. Among the Moxy, specials are Got Moxy: gin infused with Moxy syrup; Fauxy Moxy: Moxy syrup blend mixed with chilled tea; and Disco Diva: a boozy cocktail served in a disco ball with vodka, vanilla, limoncello, citrus elderflower, pomegranate, and prosecco. For a coffee fix, there is a barista counter, and Grab ‘n Go snacks and beverages are available around the clock.

With 146 stylish and functional bedrooms, you can be as productive or playful as you like. Platform beds and a fun-size workspace are among the 146 smartly designed rooms. Our guest rooms feature walk-in showers, LED guidelights, open-wall closets, and TVs with Netflix. The pooches are welcome too because they’re pet-friendly.

Adding authenticity to whatever they do and always thinking outside the box, Moxy crew members offer an authentic experience. A digital guestbook wall at Moxy Manchester City is the first of its kind in Manchester. Moxy guests can upload photos, videos, and messages via the Guestbook. Every time the social feed is updated, a new Moxy moment is shared on the wall.

Aloha, and welcome. Your journey around the web has brought you here, and I’m grateful for the chance to share a bit about Hawaiʻi with you. I do my best to provide thoughtful insights on hotels, airlines, dining, and the ever-evolving travel scene in Hawaiʻi. My role? I’m the one steering the ship—quietly behind the scenes—making sure every piece of information you find here is worth your time. I grew up in Kaʻalaea on Oʻahu, surrounded by the beauty and complexity of Hawaiʻi, which shaped how I see the world and connect with it. As a native Hawaiian and someone who works in below-wing operations for Hawaiian Airlines, I’ve always been drawn to understanding the details—whether it’s about travel, culture, or the people who make it all happen. I travel extensively across the islands, seeking out what’s new, what’s changing, and what’s truly worth sharing. From the latest hotel openings to restaurant reviews and updates on travel trends, I aim to bring you accurate, first-hand insights you can trust. For a closer look, you can also find me on YouTube, where I dive deeper with visual reviews and updates. My hope is that this space helps you connect with Hawaiʻi in a meaningful way, whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth.
