The grand opening of Cosme, a Luxury Collection Resort on Paros, was announced today by Marriott Bonvoy’s Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts, part of the company’s portfolio of 30 luxury hotel brands.

The beautiful island of Paros is located in the Aegean Sea, and it features peaceful vistas, fine culture, rich culinary history, naturally sculpted whitewashed architecture, cobbled pathways, and stretches of crystal-clear beaches.

Cosme is a sophisticated retreat where you can enjoy the authentic Cycladic lifestyle and encourage a carefree mentality. Global explorers will find an exciting journey of adventures on the Aegean Sea’s beautiful beaches, celebrating the joy of life in Naoussa on Cosme.
Cosme was created by Kanava Hotels & Resorts, which embraced Antonis Eliopoulos and Kalia Konstantinidou’s concept and values for understated luxury while raising excellent Greek hospitality.

The property’s architecture and design firm, ID Laboratorium, infused the one-of-a-kind “Aegean Touch” into the design. Rare elements from throughout the Mediterranean combine powerful Cycladic lines to create a beautiful harmony.

The design features throughout resemble Paros’ style and beauty. All structures are clean-lined and constructed of local stone, displaying beautiful architectural patterns inspired by the island’s bright fishing towns and native dwellings.

The half-moon pool, for example, is a dedication to the destination, depicting the form of the bay in which Cosme is located. Pathways that wind throughout the property give it a small-town feel, similar to that of the city itself, inviting guests to appreciate unexpected encounters and chance discoveries.

The resort’s open-air approach and stone walkway, adorned with a carefully chosen display of greenery, leads into a vast marble lobby and reception area resembling ancient Cycladic structures.
The Siesta Key Beach House features a bright, light-filled foyer brought to life with a mural by artist Christina Mandilari of Naked Summers and distinctive wallpapers and fabrics featuring handcrafted embroidery by Pierre Frey. A private beach and beach club are included at the resort.

The resort has 40 rooms, each one distinctively furnished and with its swimming pool and panoramic sea views.
Each room is designed by renowned Spanish creator Jaime Hayon, who uses fabrics in warm hues of burgundy and red and classic designs with stripes in blue, a color that is linked to Greece.

The Cosmos Suite, which measures 60 square meters and has views of the Aegean Sea, is one of the most opulent lodgings on the island. The huge terrace with a private pool, open-air dining area with sunbeds, and views across to Cosme’s private beach
Kalia Konstantinidou has created the hotel’s décor, keeping the island’s traditions accurate.

The luxury resort features a diverse culinary experience led by celebrated Greek chef Yiannis Kioroglou, who will bring his enthusiasm for ‘Medite-Grecian food to the hotel’s dining sites, beachside Parostia and laidback Volt at the center of the destination.’
Yiannis remains true to his Greek roots and infuses Greek’ philoxenia’ into all of his dishes, having come from La Petite Maison in Cannes and La Guerite in Saint Barths and with a background in some of Europe’s best restaurants.

Paros, Greece, and the Mediterranean Sea’s generosity and laid-back yet rich customs are reflected in each dish.
Guests can sample various dishes from regional cuisines in the Aroma Garden, including cooking lessons for those who want to learn how to prepare typical regional meals.

Art is also essential to the guest experience, with a diverse range of Greek indigenous multimedia artists on display.
On the other hand, this mixes modern and traditional ideas by utilizing abstract images of minute and dark details from vintage handmade embroidery.

It ultimately becomes an abstract place of reference for photographs such as fishing nets, sea urchin forms, nautical ropes, and the light of the Cycladic islands. The potter Dimitris Spyros adorns various hidden nooks of the hotel with his distinctive shapes, which are motivated by the sculptural stones of the island’s natural environment.

The artist Terpsichore was chosen for the outdoor portion of ID Laboratorium, which collaborated with ceramicist Nikos Gagiatsos to craft the faces of its famous lazy sailors painted on pots. Elios Spa, located at the resort’s highest point and named after the Greek Sun God, Elios, pays homage to the beautiful location in which it is hidden.

Elios Spa is a sanctuary for the senses where guests are encouraged to rediscover equilibrium through holistic treatments using exclusively indigenous ingredients, pure extracts, and creative methods.
The carefully chosen spa partner, KORRES, combines rare organic Greek and Mediterranean ingredients to create locally inspired healing rituals, treatments, and therapies that may be tailored to visitors’ needs while also stimulating and revitalizing the body, soul, and spirit.

The Greek yogurt facial, the Aegean sensation candle massage, and the Elios Sunlight Wellbeing Journey are among Korres’ signature treatments. On the spa’s roof, a secluded area for star-gazing overlooks Naoussa and the sea, making it perfect for meditation and yoga activities.
